Chifundo Ngwira

Chifundo is a Partner at the Firm and heads its Finance and Audit Committee. He has over 25 years of extensive knowledge of dispute resolution and transactional practice in commercial, corporate and other matters in Malawi. He leads research on the salient aspects requiring litigation.

Chifundo frequently advises on mergers and acquisition, shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements and generally on multivariate secretarial aspects of corporate management. He is a talented draftsman and an ardent student of good corporate governance systems. He holds specialist qualifications in drafting obtained from University of Cape Town in the Republic of South Africa.

Chifundo was head-hunted to make Partner at the Firm. His track record for competence motivated the Firm to invite him to make Partner. He comes with experience obtained from his law firms and organizations both in Malawi and Botswana that he worked for including but not limited to Sacranie & Gow, Lawson and Company and Debswana [where he performed LCAS – Legal Compliance Audit Services].

Chifundo’s regular clients include but are not limited to Spear II Capital Holdings Limited of Mauritius, Ernst and Young, Illovo Malawi Plc, Lujeri Tea Estates Limited, Malawi Fertilizer Company and other International banks and investment funds.
